Item: Lead Acid Charge Controller
Item Description:The Lead Acid Charge Controller is a convenient
solution that provides power for automotive mobile tracking device applications.
The controller connects between the vehicle battery, the mobile tracking device,
and a sealed lead-acid battery. Sealed lead-acid batteries are very common and
are typically the solution used as backup power for home alarm systems. While
the vehicle is running, the battery is charged by the vehicle alternator. When
the vehicle is turned off, the power seamlessly switches over to the battery and
the mobile tracking device runs off of the sealed lead-acid battery. The controller
is generally used in applications where vehicles are used but will sit for extended
periods and will require power that is not the main battery of the vehicle.
